I bought a house with furnace that was serviced by Atchison Plumbing and Heating not once but twice in the last 2 months! When we came to do a final inspection, the furnace was working. 1 week later we moved in and the furnace is not working. The house was vacant and the furnace was shut off so there was no reason for it to break in one week. I called them to come see what the problem was. The guy was here for 1 hour he said he thought it was the thermostat. I asked him if it would be cheaper for me to go get a thermostat and he said he would charge me $25. Turns out he charged me over 100 in travel time to go to his office and get a thermostat! So in total he was here for 1 hour and he charged me 355.........AND HE DIDNT FIX THE FURNACE! Not only did he not fix the furnace he couldn't tell me for sure what the problem was. Wow! I dont know how people live with themselves by acting so shady and I certainly don't know how they run this way.

This company is a joke. One of their employees they sent was named Dave, he offers plumbing services on the side for cash. He will give you his phone number to contact him instead of the company Atchison. He also offered his phone number to others in the neighborhood. Avoid this company, look elsewhere.
