I cannot recommend highly enough the excellence of service , the rapidity of response and superior knowledge and patience of Mr. Salmon and his team. Seniors who have concerns with, but little understanding of, plumbing and heating, as do I, call Salmon Plumbing first!
We called them out to fix a problem with our humidifyer on the furnace only to later discover a leak in the basement due to the fact that the repairman had not shut the water valve off. In the end they sent the owner Paul out who then installed the incorrect filter for the humidifyer and it leaked again. They stopped returning phone calls and we ended up having to call in someone else to actually correct their mistakes and they still charged us for it - FULL PRICE! after all the time off work. I would stear clear of these guys, they send untrained professionals and they do not stand behind their work or correct their mistakes.
Christmas Nightmare: my grandfather was having a sewage backup, we called salmon to get an emergency tech out. They insisted that we put a 300$ deposit down, but were unable to tell us a ETA estimation. As it was an emergency, we were calling many plumbers. The customer service employee was extremely rude, and did not seem like she cared to help. I would not recommend this company for emergency after hour calls.
We have used Salmon Plumbing as our contractor for all jobs related to plumbing, sump pump, sewage ejector, furnace, air conditioner and water heaters since 1990. They have been excellent, fully reliable, the level of service is excellent. The service men have been very polite, respectful, and work is high quality. I would recommend them for any job related to plumbing, heating and cooling.
My parents contacted Salmon to run the plumbing and gas lines to move there washer and dryer to the main floor of their home. They were very quick to go to their home and give the estimate and they completed the job ahead of schedule. The employees were courteous, professional and very pleasant to deal with. My parents were happy with the workmanship and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. Best of all the invoice was less then originally quoted so they are obviously very honest too!
