Staff are somewhat helpful. Clean gym. Daycare is not very accommodating to parents. The schedule is all over the place, you should be able to book a day/time whenever but you can't, only 1-2 ladies look after numerous children so if they can't watch your kids then you don't get daycare, they have unexperienced staff to be handling 12 weeks of age and older. They say they don't change diapers and I had to explain to the one lady how to make a bottle of formula for my son. They have nice equipment though it is cramped together in some areas, there's no mirrors anywhere except one small area, they need fans or a better AC unit, plus they may have a random class going in the Hit Zone area which means you can't really workout there for that 30m time period. There's great potential for this place it just needs some work!
Bigger than I expected, lots of great gym equipment as well as usual perks(child minding, hydro beds). Would be excellent if it was more central or opened a second location in London.
There are many things about this gym that still needs to be improved. My first complaint is about the membership perks. I paid for the Peak Plus membership which is about $30/month as I wanted to have the benefit of joining the classes that they offer. It seems like during the classes, the instructors/members of staff dont really check what your membership is and really let anyone come into the classes which I find quite unfair. My second problem is that there needs to be twice the amount of mirrors. There are only mirrors by the free weights and on one other wall by the squat racks and its constantly squished full of people. There arent any mirrors in the ladies area nor in their boot camp area.Lastly, the hours need to be extended. Their competitors like Fit4Less and Planet Fitness are all 24 hours a day, everyday. I work and end at 5:30pm almost every Sunday and find it hassling to try and rush myself to the gym before they close at 7pm. Other than that, its a very spacious gym with music thats up to date. I like how they have water fountains, free wifi and showers but then again, I can get that from their other competitors and might consider switching back to Fit4Less.
Spacious, various choice of machines, good layout and sufficient amount of dumbbells, barbells and all that other gyms have. However, I am not sure if the gym is supervised by someone or not. It is hard to see someone at the front. I left my water bottle outside washroom for couple seconds and its gone when I came back. I asked the cleaner who were cleaning the area at the moment and he said he threw it in garbage bag for safety reason. It wasn't a disposable bottle but it was a shaker bottle. As long as you are careful with your belongings that might be thrown to garbage bag for safety reasons, it is an affordable gym with average workout environment.
Decent sized gym, but equipped horribly. None of the bars have a knurl in the middle making it not only uncomfortable, but dangerous to squat. The knurl on the outsides is very weak. Most of the machines are good. The Olympic section is good but could use the proper bars. Lots of cardio equipment too for those interested. Staff are very friendly and willing to help with any questions.
