After interviewing several roofing companies I decided to go with Himalaya Group and I'm glad I did. The experience was professional from start to finish. They use quality materials, their workmanship is excellent and their price was was on the lower end of the scale. I'm happy to refer them going forward.
They do great work and their prices are competitive. We are thrilled with the end result. We had a roof extension and concrete patio done. After it was completed the lawn which got got unavoidably damaged by heavy equipment was repaired and looks good. The workers were all happy to be there and easy to deal with.
From the on time estimate appointment to the follow up after finishing an excellent job, we were more than pleased with our roof receiving new shingles via Himalaya Roofing. Their price, advice, courtesy of all workers, workmanship and cleanup more than met our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend this roofing business.
Himalaya Group came highly recommended by a family member, they have an A+ rating with the BBB and several fantastic reviews here. They use a program to estimate the work prior to coming to site. I live in a semidetached home. The quote came to me assuming we were renovating both homes. WeWere only renovating our side. It was quickly and easily adjusted. The price was reasonable and on par with the competition. They initially presented themselves very professionally and included liability insurance information up front.We were initially quoted an install date 4 weeks away from giving our deposit. That date came and went and no one showed up or called to say our project had been pushed back. I waited for two weeks to contact them to see when we could get our project installed. We booked another date and another no show with no communication. This happened a total of three times. 9 weeks after we paid our deposit we finally had guys on site. The job took more than one day, which was reasonable. We expected that they would show up the next day to finish the job but no one showed. No one contacted us to tell us when the job was to be completed. We had to call again. Throughout the entire process the onus was on us to communicate. Each time we contacted them we received several apologies and many excuses for the delays.The only reason I am giving two stars is because the workmanship is fantastic. The site was left clean and the guys doing the work were very respectful. HOWEVER, I could not recommend them to a family or friend because it was too hard to get them to complete the job. Im very disappointed that we did not have the same exceptional experience that other customers have had.
I had 10 different roofing contractors give me estimates. In the end I chose Himalaya Group because the price was good, everything was straightforward, and they had a 15 year warranty for labour while everyone else had only 10 year warranty. Everyone on the team was professional, knowledgable and hardworking. They tore off and installed a new roof in a day and did a thorough job cleaning up as well. I was happy with the result and the whole crew did a great job overall. Even my neighbors were impressed! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
